Pricing
$0.00075 per profile = $0.75 per 1,000
| You are charged for | When | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Profile scraped | One public Snapchat profile returned in the dataset. Usernames that don't exist or aren't public profiles are never charged. | $0.00075 |
Pay-per-event pricing: you are billed per result, not per subscription. Billing is handled by Apify on your own account. These are the live Apify store prices, in effect since 2026-09-14, and they are what you are actually charged.
Inputs
| Field | What it does | Type |
|---|---|---|
usernames | One per line: kyliejenner, @kyliejenner, https://www.snapchat.com/add/kyliejenner or https://www.snapchat.com/@kyliejenner. Up to 1,000 in one run. Only public profiles come back; the run report says what happened to the rest. Leave it empty if you only want the profiles your hashtags or search terms find. | array |
hashtags | football, #football or https://www.snapchat.com/tag/football. Snapchat's page for a hashtag lists about 32 Spotlight videos, and the actor reads the profile of each creator among them. Creators without a public profile are skipped and not charged. Up to 20 hashtags. | array |
searchTerms | Words to search Snapchat's public profiles for, like cooking or real madrid. Each search brings back the profiles Snapchat lists for it, 24 at most. Up to 20 searches. | array |
includeStory | The snaps in the profile's public story right now, each with a link to the photo or video and the time it was posted. Stories disappear after 24 hours, so plenty of profiles have none when you look. | boolean |
includeSpotlight | The Spotlight videos listed on the profile page, each with views, shares, comments, length, caption, hashtags and links to the video. | boolean |

Snapchat Profile Scraper: public profiles, subscribers, stories and Spotlight, no account needed
Give it usernames or profile links and get one row per profile: subscriber count, bio, category, website, the pictures, the snaps in the story that is up right now, and the Spotlight videos listed on the page with their views, shares and comments. Hashtags and search terms work too, and find profiles for you.
The limit to know first: only public profiles exist here. An ordinary personal Snapchat account has no public page, so it is skipped, reported in the run report, and never charged.
| Input | Usernames or profile links, hashtags, search terms |
| Output | One row per public profile |
| Ceiling | 1,000 profiles per run |
| Account needed | None |
| Price | $0.75 per 1,000 profiles, flat on every plan |
👻 What Snapchat Profile Scraper does
Three ways to name the profiles you want, and you can mix them in one run.
Usernames are the direct route. kyliejenner, @kyliejenner and either shape of snapchat.com profile link all mean the same thing. Up to 1,000, repeats dropped.
Hashtags read Snapchat's page for a tag, which lists around 32 Spotlight videos, then read the profile of each creator among them.
Search terms read Snapchat's own profile search, which lists 24 profiles at most per term.
Whichever way a profile arrived, the row is the same, and foundVia says which route found it.
📥 What you give it
{
"usernames": ["kyliejenner", "djkhaled305"],
"hashtags": ["football"],
"includeStory": true,
"includeSpotlight": true
}
| Field | Default | What it is |
|---|---|---|
usernames | none | Up to 1,000. Username, @username, or a snapchat.com profile link. |
hashtags | none | Up to 20. football, #football or a /tag/football link. |
searchTerms | none | Up to 20. Plain words, like cooking or real madrid. |
includeStory | true | The snaps in the profile's story right now, each with a media link and the time it went up. |
includeSpotlight | true | The Spotlight videos on the profile page, with views, shares, comments, length, caption and hashtags. |
Turning the last two off still gives you storySnapCount and spotlightCount. You lose the lists, not the numbers, and the run is quicker.
A run with nothing in any of the three fields returns one labelled sample row so you can see the shape, and that row is not charged.
📤 What you get back
A real row, from run xq3JjKiFFFPwrQcas, with the long CDN links trimmed, the emoji in text values elided and the highlight list cut from eighteen entries to two:

That run had includeStory and includeSpotlight switched off, which is exactly why storySnaps and spotlightVideos are null while the counts beside them are not.
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
subscriberCount | A whole number. 0 can mean the profile hides it or genuinely has none, and the page does not say which. |
storySnaps | Each snap with its type, the time it was posted, and links to the media and a preview. |
spotlightVideos | Per video: views, shares, comments, length, size, caption, hashtags, and links to the video and its thumbnail. views is null when the creator hides the count. |
highlights, lenses | Highlights give the title, snap count and cover only. Lenses give the name, the preview image and video, and the link that opens the lens. |
badge, boostCount, recommendCount | Snapchat's own numbers, passed through as they come. They are not documented anywhere, so treat them as raw. |
subcategory | Snapchat's category code written out, so musician-band reads "Musician Band". The on-screen label can differ slightly. |
input, foundVia | What you typed, and whether it arrived as a username, from a hashtag or from a search. |
🧾 Reading the output
The dataset holds profiles and nothing else. No refusal rows and no blank lines.
Three views are set up on it, and each unwinds a nested list into its own rows:
| View | One row per |
|---|---|
overview | Profile, 13 columns |
story | Snap in a story |
spotlight | Spotlight video |
Everything else about the run is in a key-value record called RUN_REPORT: the counts, why the run stopped, which entries were skipped, and a line per profile with its verdict.
Those verdicts are ok, not-found for a username with no page, not-public for an account that is not a public profile, and different-account when the page that answered belongs to a different username. None of the last three are charged.
▶️ How to run it
1. Open Snapchat Profile Scraper and click Try for free. 2. Put your usernames in Usernames or profile links, one per line. 3. Or add Hashtags or Search terms to have profiles found for you. 4. Turn off Include the current story or Include Spotlight videos for a lighter run. 5. Click Start, then download the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it from the Apify API.
💰 How much does it cost?
$0.75 per 1,000 profiles. The same rate on every Apify plan, with no volume tiers.
One charge per profile row delivered. A username with no page, an account that is not a public profile, a repeat, and the sample row are all uncharged. Hashtag and search pages themselves cost nothing: you pay for the profiles they turn into, not for the lookup.
💡 What people use it for
- Checking subscriber counts across a list of creators before picking who to work with.
- Pulling the Spotlight numbers on a profile to see what is actually landing.
- Finding creators in a niche through a hashtag, then reading all of their profiles in the same run.
- Collecting website links and categories off public profiles for a brand list.
- Snapshotting a story before it disappears, using the media links in
storySnaps.
🚧 What it does not do
- Public profiles only. A personal account has no public page. There is no way in, with or
without an account.
- Stories vanish after 24 hours. Plenty of profiles have none when you look, and
storySnaps
is empty for them. That is the profile, not a failure.
- Spotlight is what the page lists, which ranges from none to about 31 per profile and sits
around nine on most. Older videos need a page cursor that is not followed.
- No Spotlight comment text, only the count. No subscriber lists. No private content.
- A hashtag gives the creators of the videos on its page, roughly 32, and no more.
- A search gives 24 profiles at most, and the list moves about between places and moments.
- A creator whose page answers under a newer username is left out, uncharged, with the new name
in RUN_REPORT. Nothing on the card proves it is the same person, so it is not assumed.
subscriberCount: 0is ambiguous and the page gives no way to tell hidden from genuinely zero.- Media links point at Snapchat's own servers and are not downloaded files. How long they keep
working is not something we can promise.
- The run gives up after three usernames in a row come back with nothing. A list of dead handles
stops early rather than working through all thousand.

❓ Questions people ask
Do I need a Snapchat account? No. Nothing to paste in and nothing to renew.
Why did my friend's username return nothing? Almost certainly because it is a personal account rather than a public profile. RUN_REPORT says not-public, and it is not charged.
Why is the story empty? Because there is no story up right now. They last 24 hours.
Can I get older Spotlight videos? Only what the profile page lists, which is a recent slice.
Do hashtag and search runs cost more? No. The pages that find the profiles are free; you pay for each profile that comes back, the same as if you had typed the username.
Is this legal? These are pages Snapchat publishes for anyone to open. Rows carry people's names and links, which data-protection law covers, so have a reason for collecting them. Apify's write-up on scraping and the law is a fair start, and we are not lawyers.
🆘 If something breaks
Open the Issues tab on the actor page. Send the run ID and the username that came back wrong, and paste the RUN_REPORT record from the run's key-value store: it carries a verdict for every entry you gave.
