Pricing
$0.0037 per project = $3.7 per 1,000
| You are charged for | When | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Project scraped | One Behance project with its appreciations, views and creative fields. Off-topic matches are dropped and never charged. | $0.0037 |
Pay-per-event pricing: you are billed per result, not per subscription. Billing is handled by Apify on your own account. These are the live Apify store prices, in effect since 2026-09-20, and they are what you are actually charged.
Inputs
| Field | What it does | Type |
|---|---|---|
searchTerms | What to search Behance for, one term per line. Up to 20 terms per run. Each term is searched in turn until the run reaches the row limit below. Behance caps any single search at 1,000 projects, so add more terms rather than asking one term for more. | array |
maxItems | Total rows to return across all your terms. The budget is split evenly between them, so four terms and 200 rows gives you 50 of each. Default 100, hard ceiling 5,000. Keep it low while you are trying things out — you pay per row. | integer |
sortBy | The order Behance returns matches in. "Recommended" is its own relevance ranking and is what the site shows by default. "Most appreciated" and "Most viewed" bring the big numbers to the top; "Most recent" sorts by publish date. | string |
publishedWithin | Limit results to work published recently. "All time" searches the whole archive. These four windows are the only ones Behance actually honours. | string |
creativeField | Narrow the search to one of Behance's own creative fields, the same list its site filter uses. Leave it blank to search every field. Projects that come back without the field you picked are dropped and never charged. | string |
proxyUrls | Leave this empty for a normal run. Fill it in only if you want the traffic to leave through proxy servers you already pay for, one URL per line, in the form http://user:pass@host:port. | array |

Behance Projects Scraper: projects, creators and appreciation counts for any search
Type what you would search Behance for and you get one row per project: the title and link, appreciations, views and comment count, the creator and their profile, the creative fields and tags, and the cover image. Up to 20 terms can share a run, and a project two terms both find comes back once. Before a big pull, know that Behance stops any one search at 1,000 projects, however many it claims to have, so a wider net needs more terms rather than a bigger number.
No emails, phone numbers or other contact details are asked for or written. You get the public profile link and it stops there. The form arrives with two real search terms and 100 projects, so pressing Start without editing runs that search and bills what it finds.
| Input | Search terms, with an optional sort order, date window and creative field |
| Output | One row per project |
| Ceiling | 1,000 projects per search term, 20 terms and 5,000 rows per run |
| Account needed | None |
| Price | $3.70 per 1,000 projects, flat on every plan |
🔍 What Behance Projects Scraper does
It runs your terms through Behance's own project search, in the order and date window you pick, and writes a row for each project that comes back.
Behance's search is loose. A two-word term matches work that hits either word, and some results carry neither. So every project is checked for at least one of your words in its title, tags, creative fields or creator's name before it's written, and the ones that fail are dropped without charge. A project that carries one of your two words stays in: "coffee shop branding" still returns work tagged only "branding".
Pick a creative field and anything Behance returns outside that field is dropped the same way.
maxItems is split evenly between your terms. Four terms and 200 rows gives you up to 50 of each, and a project found by two of them is written and charged once.

maxItems | 100 | Total projects across all terms, 1 to 5,000, shared evenly between them. |
sortBy | recommended | recommended (Behance's default ranking), featured_date (curated by Behance), appreciations, views, comments or published_date. |
publishedWithin | all | all, today, week or month. Those four are the only windows Behance honours. |
creativeField | every field | One of Behance's 110 creative fields, picked from the list on the form. |
proxyUrls | empty | Only if you want the requests to go out through servers of your own, as http://user:pass@host:port. |

| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
query | The term that found this project. |
appreciations, views, comments | Behance's counts when the run read them. The comments themselves aren't returned. |
creatorName, creatorUsername, creatorUrl | The first owner and their public profile. |
creatorLocation | Whatever the creator typed on their profile. Free text, often blank. |
collaborators | The other owners' names, comma separated, when a project has more than one. |
creativeFields, tags | Behance's categories for the project and the creator's own tags, each as one comma-separated string. |
publishedAt | When the project went up, in UTC. |
coverImage | A link to the cover at up to 808 pixels wide. Nothing is downloaded. |
projectId, slug | Behance's id for the project, safe as a key between runs, and the name in its link. |
🧾 Reading the output
Three kinds of row can land in the dataset.
| Row | How to spot it | Charged |
|---|---|---|
| A project | recordType: "project" | yes |
| The sample row | _sample: true and recordType: "sample" | no |
| A diagnostic | _diagnostic: true, with an errorCode and a details sentence | no |
The sample row only appears when there are no search terms. Filter on recordType being project to keep just the projects.
errorCode | What it means |
|---|---|
NO_RESULTS | Behance had nothing for that term, or everything it had carried none of your words. |
BAD_INPUT | Behance rejected the search itself. details quotes its reason. |
BLOCKED, RATE_LIMITED, NETWORK | Behance didn't answer properly this time. Worth running again. |
TIME_BUDGET and the rest | Rare. The details sentence says what happened. |
▶️ How to run it
1. Open Behance Projects Scraper and click Try for free. 2. Type your searches into Search terms, one per line. 3. Set Maximum projects, then pick Sort by and Published within if the defaults aren't what you want. 4. Under Filters, choose a Creative field (optional) to stay inside one field. 5. Click Start, then download the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it from the API.
💰 How much does it cost?
$3.70 per 1,000 projects, flat on every Apify plan.
You pay per project row. The sample row and diagnostic rows are never charged. Neither are off-topic results, results outside your creative field, or a project that a second term found again.
💡 What people use it for
- Finding the designers behind work you like in a category, then getting in touch through their Behance profile yourself.
- Watching what's doing well in a field: sort by appreciations, set the past week, run it on a schedule and compare
projectIdwith last time. - A reference board without two hundred screenshots. Every row has the cover link and the creator's own tags.
- Checking how a style or a term is actually used on Behance before naming your own project that way.
🚧 What it does not do
- More than 1,000 projects per search term. Behance stops there. Use more terms for a wider net.
- Contact details. No emails, phone numbers, social handles, rates or availability.
- Open the projects. You get the cover link and the numbers from the search, not the images inside, the description or the comments.
coverImageis a link, and fetching it is up to you. - A creator's whole portfolio. The input is a search, not a username.
- Custom date ranges. Only all time, today, the past week and the past month.
- Explain "Recommended". That's Behance's own ranking and its rules aren't published. Sort by a number if you need an order you can defend.

❓ Questions people ask
What happens if a term matches nothing? You get one free NO_RESULTS row for it and the run carries on with your other terms.
Why did I get fewer rows than I asked for? Behance stops each search at 1,000, off-topic results are dropped, the budget is split between terms, and a project found twice counts once.
Can I get one designer's portfolio? Not with this. Searching their name finds their work when the name is on their profile or in their tags, but that's a search, not a portfolio export.
Do I need a Behance account or an API key? No. It reads the same public search anyone can use.
Can I run it on a schedule? Yes. Nothing is kept between runs, so compare projectId with the last run to spot new work.
Can I use the images? The projects are public, but every cover belongs to the designer who made it, so ask before you republish one. Apify's article on whether web scraping is legal covers the collecting side.
🆘 If something breaks
Open the Issues tab on the actor page and send your search terms and the run ID. The diagnostic rows in the dataset usually name the reason already.
